Teaching Pronunciation
“The workshop was productive and helpful. From the warm up til our exit ticket all the activities were thought/taught in a meaningful sequence. I’ve learned about phonetic symbols but also, rhythm, pronunciation and also how to teach pronunciation in our daily practice. You can be a total beginner with IPA, intonation and rhythm OR you can have some practice with it like me and in either way the workshop will be valuable and constructive. Ricardo created a safe space for teachers to learn and practice pronunciation. I had a great time learning from/with him!” – Lara Goes
“It changed the way I view teaching pronunciation. Great for people like me, with little to no knowledge of phonemes, phonetics, etc. Highly interactive, we were presented with several opportunities to put our acquired knowledge in practice. The whole workshop is very organized and Ricardo conducts it with great passion, about the topic and working with other teachers. Definitely feel more confident with the use of phonemes as a tool for teaching pronunciation.” – Roman Sander
“Ricardo is an amazing professional and a caring teacher. I had the opportunity to be his student for a weekend and had such a wonderful time! I learned a lot from him and from other teachers as well. I highly recommend this course to everyone who wants to achieve better results in their performance not only as an English teacher, but also as an English learner.” – Bruna Szotka
Ricardo’s courses are always amazing. He explains everything in an amazing way so even the most difficult topics became easy. The use of resources, such as Wordwall, makes the course even more fun. Thanks a lot, Ricardo, you’re extraordinary! – Daniele Silva
“I haven’t studied anything for a very long time. Unfortunately the school I work is consuming all my time and I often feel exhausted. Saying so, being part of this workshop was AMAZING! I could have many insights about improving my teaching skills and also showed me how much I still have to learn. Plus, I haven’t felt tired or sleepy. Now, I’m not going to be away from class for too long again.” – Fernanda Penna
“This workshop was very useful for me. I just started teaching English and all help is welcome, until that time I didn’t realize how important it is to learn the sounds, rhythm, accent, the phonetics and so on. Thank you very much for opening my eyes and teaching in an easy way to learn.” – Vivian Cerqueira
“I am thankful for the opportunity of being in a course with such inspiring teachers, learning and sharing experiences! I can say I’m feeling more comfortable about my own pronunciation and definitely more inspired to help my students improve theirs.” – Jessica Souza
“Learning more about pronunciation with Ricardo is a pleasure! The workshop is fantastic! We were studying some concepts and we were putting it into practice, which gave me insights and many ideas about how to work with my students! Loved it!” – Alexandra Lima
